From Negative $150K Net Worth to Commercial Real Estate Investing with Matt Anderson
02/21/23 • 41 min
Matt Anderson graduated law school with over $150,000 in student loan debt. A simple error on his bar application prevented him from immediately going into practice and he found himself waiting tables and driving for Uber.
For many of us, this would have been a catastrophic blow. Not for Matt.
Matt and his wife house hacked their way to financial freedom over the next several years. He discovered real estate as his true passion and realized that in order to live the life that he truly wanted, he would have to leave the law. In 2022, Matt began to shut down his litigation practice and is pivoting into the commercial real estate world full time.
Matt is a serial entrepreneur who is constantly learning new skills and hustling.
We discuss what it takes to grow, ignore the opinions of people who don't matter, and how to maximize the amount of time you spend learning.
