Our Battle for an EHCP
This week Meesh and Christelle are talking EHCPs again, this time with @thecharityshopmother Rachael.
Rachael talks to us about her son's diagnosis of autism and the lack of support she received from his mainstream school in regards to support and the EHCP process. Rachael then took it upon herself to battle for her son's EHCP alone, gathering evidence and drawing up the paperwork which was then finally accepted and paved the way for her son's transition into a specialist school where he has finally found happiness in his school life.
We also talk about social media and how much, and what content we share of our children with additional needs.
A great chat with a wonderful mum!
