Listen to Podcast:

https://learningtogo.ai/wp-content/uploads/2017/11/Futurist-Bill-Jensen-Are-You-Ready-for-the-Future.mp3

Futurist, change expert and CEO of the Jensen Group, Bill Jensen (aka “Simpleton Bill”) helps companies, teams, and individuals double their productivity and pursue their passions. Bill has spent the past 25 years studying how work gets done, and I was thrilled to have him join our Brain Matters Online Conference in 2015. Future Strong is his eighth book and we’re featuring it on Margie’s Bookshelf. You can find all of his work at www.simplerwork.com.

Bill and I got together to talk about his unique perspective on Joseph’s Campbell’s work, how Millennials (and many others) view their employers, and how we can all be more resilient in the face of disruptive change by facing five fundamental choices in our lives.

I strongly recommend this podcast for every learning professional – you’ll see why when you listen!

Listen to Podcast:

Baba Brinkman is a rap artist, award-winning playwright, and former tree-planter who has personally planted more than one million trees. (What a legacy!) His best known for his “Rap Guide” series of plays and albums, including his latest work, The Rap Guide to Consciousness. I must admit that I don’t consider myself much of a fan of rap music, but I’m going to have to rewire my brain on that subject. I absolutely fell in love with this album and the wonderful way Baba incorporates peer-reviewed neuroscience into his compelling, sometimes haunting tunes.

In this episode, I talked with Baba about his amazing work, his fascination with the brain and his life married to an actual neuroscientist. You can purchase his music on Bandcamp, iTunes, and Amazon. Follow him on Twitter and see all his work at www.bababrinkman.com.
