205: Fan Favorite Replay: How to Show Up Consistently and Authentically in Your Business
Leading Lady Podcast | Coaching and Accountability for Ambitious Women Entrepreneurs
04/09/24 • 16 min
Let’s talk about consistency!
In business, it is so important that you show up consistently. This is one of the most important factors of success, but how do you choose what platform to be consistent on? There are many to choose from, but you don’t have to be on them all if that doesn't feel right to you.
For me, it’s all about the platform that I feel most comfortable on. This is important for me to feel like my most authentic self. It’s easy to get lost in all of the latest social media trends and feel overwhelmed with trying to keep up with it all.
The truth is, if you try to show up on all of these platforms that you don’t normally spend your time on, it’s just not going to feel good to you, and it’s hard to stay consistent with something that doesn’t feel good.
If dancing in Reels or on TikTok doesn’t feel right, then don’t! There are no rules for what you do and don’t have to do to be successful in your business. You are in charge of your business choices.
Tune in to this episode of Leading Lady to hear more about how to find the right platform for your business, how to show up consistently, tips for choosing topics to share, and how to nurture your relationship with your audience.
This episode is packed with tips, you don’t want to miss it!

135: How To Stop Food Policing Thoughts and Make Better Health Decisions: A Podcast Takeover with Elizabeth Harris
Leading Lady Podcast | Coaching and Accountability for Ambitious Women Entrepreneurs
10/18/22 • 15 min
Have you ever felt guilty for eating something that you thought you shouldn’t? Or do you ever think things like, “I can’t have sweets, they’re bad for me,” or, “I shouldn’t have carbs because they’ll make me gain weight?”
In intuitive eating, we call these the food police. They’re essentially these thoughts that we all have swirling in our heads about what we’re supposed to eat. It’s like our own inner judge and jury that tell us whether the food we are eating is good or bad.
Have you ever wondered where exactly they came from? The truth is that a vast majority of the time, they come from diet culture and they are not helping us! They come straight from weight loss companies that are selling diets or meal plans or other people trying to make money off of us.
In this episode of Leading Lady, we are doing another podcast takeover with Leading Lady Ambassador Elizabeth Harris! She’s a registered dietitian and intuitive eating counselor with a virtual nutrition practice. She empowers women to find peaceful solutions to food and nutrition without dieting or stressing about the scale with intuitive eating and body image healing.
Elizabeth is diving into the topic of food police and “shoulding” all over your food choices. We are human and there is so much more to our health and well-being than the food we eat or how much we exercise.
Tune in to learn more about shutting out the food police and developing healthier habits around food and exercise.

137: How to Improve Your Body Image Despite Toxic Diet Culture: A Podcast Takeover with Elizabeth Harris
Leading Lady Podcast | Coaching and Accountability for Ambitious Women Entrepreneurs
11/01/22 • 18 min
How can you show up in business or life if your body, or more precisely, how you feel about your body, is holding you back?
This is something that so many women struggle with. If you think this way, please know that you are not alone. It’s really hard to be a human - especially a female - in the diet culture that we live in.
Your body is most definitely not a problem. The problem is the toxic diet culture we all live in that tells us there's a right way or a wrong way to have a body or that promotes unrealistic, largely unattainable, and frankly, ever-changing body ideals.
Your body is not a fashion statement. We may not be able to change the culture itself, but we can change how we react to it. Elizabeth explores how we can turn inward with science and self-compassion and weather the storm of diet culture.
Tune in to learn more about how to do it!

210: Simple Choices Make a Big Difference: How To Become More Eco-Friendly with Crystal DiMiceli: Fan Favorite Replay
Leading Lady Podcast | Coaching and Accountability for Ambitious Women Entrepreneurs
05/14/24 • 15 min
You don’t have to upend your life to make animal and environmentally-friendly choices.
Topics like climate change and deforestation can be really overwhelming to think about. After all, how much of a difference can one person really make? The truth is, we need everyone’s effort. Taking steps to be more environmentally friendly will make an impact. Every small action adds up to big changes.
In this episode of the Leading Lady podcast, Crystal DiMiceli joined me to talk about how we can make a difference in our environment even with the tiniest of changes.
Crystal was that little girl who loved animals and brought home strays whenever her parents would allow it (that may still be her M.O.!). She was that teenager who watched a show about pollution and vowed to stop it when she grew up. But, she’s also that woman that loves to travel to far-off places on fossil fuel-guzzling airplanes while wearing leather shoes.
She may not be the perfect example of how to do eco- and animal-friendly 100% “right”, but she makes every effort possible. She does her research, makes conscious choices, and listens to both sides of the aisle. She wants to bring attention to the good things that are happening so that we can elevate and scale up these acts so that they, ideally, become the norm. She understands that nothing is black and white, there are many shades of grey. Although, she prefers to say many shades of green.
You don’t have to be perfect to be environmentally conscious. It all starts with one small change. We are so much more powerful than you may think, especially together. Make sure to tune in to learn how you can start making more environmentally conscious decisions in your life today.
