22: Child Trafficking Uncensored; Protecting The Children From Exploitation
08/05/20 • 52 min
“My eyes opened up to the fact that this is real, this is relevant, this is happening right in our front yards”
Children are a bundle of joy, innocent God-given gifts to every family, and the hope of our nation’s future. As of the moment, we might be safe at home with our kids, enjoying a lovely day under the sun with precious smiles from ear to ear, but are you aware that 800,000 children go missing every year and that is roughly 2000 children per day. These children are experiencing the opposite of what our children are enjoying right now. They are maltreated, sold, and harvested for organs.
Herewith us today are two good friends of mine, Alex and Jen on this awakening and alarming conversation about child trafficking and putting an end to these immoral and unlawful crimes.
In this time of crisis, we are called to be the soldiers of the weak, the voice of the voiceless and the defender of the innocent. Never be afraid to fight for the helpless, donate and light the torch of hope for millions of missing children that it might enlighten their path to their way home.

- A predator might touch your child in the presence of you so that he or she thinks that you’re comfortable with her being touched or him being touched.
- Keep in mind that the first physical contact between a predator in his or her victim is often non-sexual and designed to desensitize the child.
- A predator might take advantage of your child’s natural curiosity about sex by telling dirty jokes showing him or her pornography by playing sexual games.
- A predator may offer to play games, buy treats for young children.
- A predator might present him or herself as a sympathetic listener when parents, friends, and others disappoint a child.

21: Why Now is the Right Time to Speak Out about Racism with Kristy Millen
America is one great nation divided by inequality and race, contradicting its independent name, "United."
Today my friend Kristy Millen joined us in the podcast to chat this sensitive topic about racism. Kristy is a fearless, beautiful woman of color who will share her personal life experience dealing with racism.
Now is the right time to stand up for them. Keeping silent in this time of other's needs isn't the right option. Never be afraid of voicing out for others, they need our support and voice to speak out the truth. Imagine if all the people who believe and fight for what is right would stand up for them? Support them and empower them? That might end the long history of racism in this world.
Highlights:
- Racism encounters that people are getting used to and treating it as "normal" when, in fact, it's not.
- Educating the children of the TRUTH about the country's racism history
- Kristy's origin story of how she and her family came to America
- A black woman's death in the hands of a white man; The Death of her sister Monique that unveiled the ugliness of the justice system for black people
- The importance of educating your kids in their early years about racism
- Exercising your rights to vote and understanding how the constitution works
- The huge impact and contribution of the black community to the American economy
- Christy's beautiful and empowering message for all of us.
Movies Mentioned:
- Netflix: Just Mercy
Speak up, pray for them, and stand with them, sign the petitions, vote wisely.
