Last Drinks

In this episode of Last Drinks Maz chats with her former MTV producer Ant. From boat parties to the MTV Awards Maz and Ant worked together in the MTV hey-day and Maz never knew Ant was sober! You'll hear why Ant can't drink alcohol, how people have reacted to that over the years, and the truth about what it's like to call time on your dream job.

There are also some great Jason Dundas stories in this episode, so enjoy!

Antony Yee is a Film & Television director, writer, producer and editor with over 25 years industry experience. He has worked on &/or created TV shows for the Seven Network, MTV & SBS. He has also been a lead (or senior) creative on multiple advertising campaigns for Foxtel for well over a decade.

These days you can find him delving and indulging in the world of motion capture and CGI animation; a sandbox he has been dying to play in for years. Plus, he is also a founding member of the award-winning online comedy group Bullet Pudding.

For a quarter of a century, Antony has operated in an industry renown for the credo “work hard, play harder”, and he has always achieved the first half of that statement without ever over indulging in the second. Because he can’t. For it is one thing choosing not to drink. But when you actually don’t even have that – a choice – what can you do?

For Antony, that question has no easy answers. But they’re there...

Are you a swticher?

In this chat with the founder of Yes You Can Drinks, Maz & Tyler chat about the non alcohol drinks space, and how switching can be a good step towards sobriety. Switching is the idea that you can have one alcoholic drink, and then switch to a non alcohol drink. Althought Maz is all about being 100% sober, the non-alcohol drinks space offers a great solution for anyone who wants to start their sober curiosity by cutting back.

Aussie Olympian Tyler and his pregnant partner Soph created Yes You Can Drinks to give you a choice. A choice to enjoy those nights out with your mates, without (or even with just a little less) booze. A choice to reward yourself with your favourite drinks, without the inevitable slow start the next day. We are not the enemy of alcohol - we've had our fair share of big nights too! Yes You Can just provides the perfect option for the early riser, designated driver and the morning exerciser.

Hear how Tyler and his partner came up with the idea of their non alc drinks range and what it took to create a playful and fun brand that sits in one of the biggest growth markets for consumers.

Can you get some non-alc drinks for yourself, Yes You Can! Check out the full range here: https://yesyoucandrinks.com
