Dean Fletcher caught a fish known as The Parrot at a colossal weight of 68lb 1oz from the Wasing Estate Fishery in 2016. Consequently, this tremendous capture makes Dean the current holder of the ratified accolade, the British record for a carp. Along with Wasing, he’s fished other familiar venues such as Dinton Pastures and Wellington Country Park. Some of his most memorable captures from these fisheries include Wellington Park’s The Turtle and Dinton’s Bruno.
