Consequently, this tremendous capture makes Dean the current holder of the ratified accolade, the British record for a carp. Along with Wasing, he’s fished other familiar venues such as Dinton Pastures and Wellington Country Park. Some of his most memorable captures from these fisheries include Wellington Park’s The Turtle and Dinton’s Bruno.
