Love Thy Nay Bor Anthony Wilson pt 1

We’ve heard the scripture from Mark chapter 12 verse 31 and Matthew chapter 22 verse 39, which says, “love your neighbor as yourself”, the imperative word here being “as.” The long form of this phrase would be “love your neighbor as you love yourself.” This implies that in order to be kind, compassionate, and generous to our neighbor, we must first be these things to ourselves. Amen! For many people, they “know the verse” but have difficulty in implementation. For others, they try too hard to implement the verse and end in strife. For others, they just ignore it completely and are out for themselves. Our guest today is Apostle Anthony Wilson, host of the “Love Thy Nay Bor Podcast” (spelled NAY and BOR). Anthony is on a mission to equip, encourage and elevate God’s people and to reach those who are far off and to bring them closer to God. He does this through sound doctrine and teaching and, through his podcast! Praise God! He is also the author of the book titled, “The Hand of God.” This book discusses true Biblical prosperity and success as a Christian. Help me welcome to the program, Apostle Anthony Wilson! Anthony, thank you for taking the time out of your schedule to visit with us today! First question, other than that brief information I just shared, can you tell us in your own words, “Who is Anthony Wilson?” Let’s start by talking about your podcast. Why the phonetic change to “neighbor” in your title? It’s definitely an attention getter! One thing that gets my goat nowadays is when someone takes one verse of scripture and tries to make a new doctrine out of it. From what I’ve read about you and from what I’ve heard, listening to a few of your episode, this is something that gets your fire up, too. Is that right? How can we, as believers and as fellow laborers of the Gospel, dispel this type of false teaching? I know, for myself, the type of teachings I listen to are, basically, deep dives on scripture verses. Not entire chapters in one sitting type of teachings. I love, for example, a study in Mark 11. Not just Mark 11 and not just Mark 11 and verses 22-24. But let’s go verse by verse through Mark 11 because verses 1-21 put into context what Jesus was talking about in verses 22-24! Amen! How about you, what do you focus on in your teachings? Another example of not teaching the entire doctrine, let’s use one of the MOST memorized scriptures in the Bible, John 3:16. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” Most Christians believe that and can probably quote it. But very few know what verse 17 says! “For God did not send His Son into the world to CONDEMN the world; but that the world – THROUGH HIM – might be saved!” So many focus on verse 16 and only worry about the individual – which we should, I’m not trying to minimize that – but there is also an entire WORLD beyond our four walls that needs to be reached. I see our internet ministry as fulfilling verse 17 – but we do it by reaching INDIVIDUALS to help THEM fulfill verse 16. But our ministry – and yours – through podcasting, etc. is reaching THE WORLD! Amen! And, of course, we are fulfilling the Great Commandment in all of this as well. Folks, as you have heard Anthony Wilson and I go back and forth, the Word of God is so needful today than at any other time in human history. Events happening all around the world right now, yes, they’ve been happening since time began! I encourage you to go down into the show notes can click the links there to get in touch with Apostle Anthony Wilson. Order his book, “The Hand of God.”

Vertical Relationship Training – Melia Diana

Vertical Relationship Training Melia Diana

Everyone has experienced problems in their relationships, whether it is between husband and wife, boy-friend or girl-friend, or other people that are involved in your life. Some even have issues reconciling the fact that Jesus loves them unconditionally. To help us understand these things, sometimes we need someone just to come alongside us and point us in the right direction. Amen! My guest today has been helping people do just that for many years. Melia Diana is an International Best-Selling author; a Certified Christian Counselor, speaker and relationship & dating coach. She specializes in helping you to receive that inner healing transformation who unashamedly loves the Lord and is indefinitely serious about her Faith walk with Jesus. Amen! She has her own Signature Coaching Programs to help women to identify the missing links and ROOT issues that hinder God’s best in your life. She is also the author of a great book titled, “Vertical Relationship: 4 Steps to Salvation & Getting Right with God.” She also co-authored a book that became a #1 international best seller, titled “Overcomer: Redeemed Masterpiece (Inspired Stories of Real People with Unconquerable Will to Thrive and Be Alive). And now she has a podcast as well, “The Vertical Relationship Show!” Praise God! Help me welcome to the program, Melia Diana! Melia, thank you so much for taking the time to come back on the program and visit with us today! For those that may not have heard our prior conversation, it has been almost a year already – time goes by so fast... but to catch up those that may not have heard our prior episode, can you tell us in your own words, “Who is Melia Diana?” Last time, we discussed your book, “Vertical Relationship.” We also talked about how you got started doing this “personal aspect of Spiritual coaching.” Let’s start there just to bring everyone up to date. Why did you get involved with coaching and counseling services like this? You also have your “Vertical Relationship Academy.” What is this about? Does this training follow your book or go into more detail about the concepts outlined in your book? You speak to “getting to the core ROOT issues.” What do you mean by that and how do they affect people in their daily lives and relationships? Do you help your clients, I’ll just use the phrase, “realign their relationship with Jesus” which then helps them to realign their relationship with others? Or does it go the other way around, heal their relationship with others which brings them more in line with their relationship with Jesus? I know you are a licensed Physical Therapist, does this play into that area of your expertise as well? You talk about helping people receive inner healing in all areas of their life, “spiritually, emotionally, mentally and physically.” Let’s talk about what you call, “Spiritual Trauma of the wounded soul.” Can you explain that for us? Tell us about your podcast, "The Vertical Relationship Show." When did you begin podcasting? How often do you publish new episodes? What is the format of your podcast? Are you going to be doing interviews? You also do public speaking. I know COVID kind of put the dampers on everything. It affected me as well. I used to go to half a dozen speaking events a year, but those withered away. I’ve participated in a lot of virtual events. How about you? What has your speaking events consisted of lately? What are your plans for 2022? Melia, all of this sounds so interesting. If someone wanted to contact you to get information on having you come and speak, whether virtually or in person or perhaps get more information on your Vertical Relationship Academy, how can they do that? How can someone get in touch with you to find out more? How can we listen to your podcast? And your book, “Vertical Relationship: 4 Steps to Salvation & Getting Right with God.” How can they obtain a copy of that? Is it on Amazon? Since we are talking about books, how about the book you co-authored that become a #1 International Best Seller - “Overcomer: Redeemed Masterpiece (Inspired Stories of Real People with Unconquerable Will to Thrive and Be Alive). Is that available on Amazon as well? Folks, Melia Diana has put together a marvelous package of training and material to help you get past whatever troubles you may be facing, spiritually, emotionally, mentally and, because of her physical therapist training, physically as well. Praise God! I encourage you to go down into the show notes and get in touch with her today. Why wait even one more day to turn your life around. Go down into the show notes, click the li...

This is part two of what turned out to be an awesome three part interview! (we pick up the discussion of doing a deep dive in our Bible study time) How did or how has COVID affected your ministry? There was a time, not to long ago, when almost everyone brought their own Bible’s to church so they could follow along with the pastor. Now, they rely on the screen to provide them with a scripture reference and most people do not know how to “turn to a specific” scripture on their own. They’re lost when it comes to looking up scripture. What is your take on using the large screens with scripture references, etc. in churches today. I know they serve a purpose, but I believe they are actually dumbing down church goers. What is your take on this? You believe the average Christian should be studying their Bible more, and I agree. But why is it most Christians today actually study LESS than just a few years ago? Again, I relate some of that back to church goers not using their own Bibles in services. Folks, so many things are happening simultaneously instead of independently. And the Bible clearly tells us when these thing are happening all at the same time, to “Look up – for our redemption IS drawing near!” What better gift can you give than the Word of God and the ability to understand it. You can do that by ordering Apostle Anthony Wilson’s book, “The Hand of God,” right now. Go down into the show notes and click the links right there!
