Guilt, if utilized properly, is a good motivator for change and can help us transition to the next and better version of ourselves. Shame tears us down and is rooted in faulty core beliefs we hold about ourselves. In this episode I’ll discuss the function of guilt and shame, the brain’s role in bringing them about and what we can do to change our core beliefs, grasp our inherent value, befriend guilt and shut down shame.
