Playing Rabab For the 'Soul' By the 'Soul'

Sannan Mahboob, from Swat Valley - The northern site of Pakistan, is a Musician/Artist and a disciple of a renowned artist named as Ustad Homayoun Sakhi - an Afghan-American Rabab Master, the most innovative Afghan Rabab artist of his generation.

Such a vast duration of learning and playing Rabab made Sannan competent enough that he took part in several productions with the well known brands.

The artist has performed live for Coke Studio in the production of the music produced by Hamza Ali in collaboration with ISPR for Pakistan Day on 23rd March, 2021 in Islamabad, Parade Groud.

Moreover, he also collaborated with national singer, Jamal Shah to play rabab for Peshawar Zalmi’s recent track that was produced by Rohail Hyatt and Ali Mustafa.

The number of accomplishments doesn’t end there as Sannan Mahboob, being a cultured artist, runs his music academy in Bahria Town, Islamabad which is called Staccato Studio - where he conducts his jamming sessions with friends, records new music, and teaches his students all at once. Not to mention that the artist teaches his students online as well.
