Will the loss of freedom in Canada become permanent following the pandemic? Is it already permanent? We discuss possible remedies to this reduction of Charter rights and freedoms which is based on fear of COVID, a fear that governments and the media have stoked for months. Perhaps change will come when society fears the lockdown measures more than the virus.
