In this excerpt, they discuss the likelihood that associates of Combs will face criminal charges and the decision by prosecutors to include references to salacious evidence in the indictment. Elie also reacts to listener responses to his recent article criticizing special counsel Jack Smith’s brief in his election interference case against former President Donald Trump.

In the full episode, Elie and Mimi further discuss Combs’ indictment, including the impact civil cases filed against Combs had on the criminal investigation and what special considerations go into prosecuting sex trafficking cases.
