You can now just say “stop” to stop the smart speaker from speaking after you give a command.

Hot Off The Press after going to air - turn off VoiceOver Caption Panel in VoiceOver settings as when on, causes VoiceOver to speak the word UnderScore when navigating by character or when using the unlock keypad with VoiceOver.

A Tip on Using the Uccello Kettle
Vision Australia is now selling this kettle, but just a tip/warning for folks in using this kettle when poring, make sure you get support on positioning the cup please!!!
iOS 15.3 VoiceOver Bug
If you have the Caption Panel turned on within VoiceOver Settings, when you navigate by character or use the unlock keypad, you will get VoiceOver saying “under score” before each character.
So, make sure Caption Panel is off.
Dictation Button Location has Changed on the Default iOS keyboard
Just noticed this last week, so who knows how long this change has been around as I as a VO user just use the Magic Double tap for voice dictation.
Rather than being to the left of the Space Bar the Dictation button is now to the right.However

Last weeks Tech Friday which are now back, Jamy Kelly told me you can get a flash drive that has both a UsB C and USB A type connecter so you can use it on PC’s etc that have either port.
