I Have A Podcast by Vinnie Potestivo

Welcome, friend, to the very first episode of I Have a Podcast, a collection of conversations with today’s most successful, mindful, and impactful voices in media and technology. In this inaugural episode of IHAP I am joined by the irresistibly charming and brilliant SuChin Pak.

SuChin Pak is a journalist, producer, and co-host of the podcast Add to Cart. Our friendship goes back 20+ years when we were working together at MTV. In this episode, we talk about the highs, the lows, and the reason why she never returned back to television. SuChin shares how her experience as an Asian American woman became a central part of her storytelling and why podcasting has been a brilliant platform for her to share her strengths. She also divulges the secret to keeping her creative momentum at flow - spoiler alert - it takes discipline and structure! In this episode of firsts be among the first to listen, first to review, and first to share.

And on that note, thank you so much for your support and I hope you take something from this episode that you can put into action today!

Happy Jack and I Have A Podcast: Youth Culture & Mental Health

Happy Jack was founded by Jack Nathan, as a “nod to everyone who feels trapped in their mind, and a reminder to do precisely what is important to you. Otherwise, you'll end up being normal and normal is boring."

Unfortunately, Jack left us suddenly and accidentally on July 3, 2020 at the age of 19. His passing was unrelated to mental illness. Jack was a survivor. Not a victim. He left behind a legacy of perseverance and a company that lives on through the work of this family and the community he built.

His parents, Bradi Harrison & David Nathan, have stepped in to run their son’s company, in his legacy, in his honor, and in his shadow. As a cause-driven brand on a mission, Happy Jack donates a portion of every sale to nonprofits devoted to transforming the lives of children and families struggling with mental health.

In this episode of IHAP, I connect with Jack’s parents, Bradi Harrison & David Nathan, to talk about running their retail business, mental illness, and their experiences working with college ambassadors. Learn more about Happy Jack and check out the merch and apparel at happyjacksworld.com.
