Had a wonderful conversation with Marc Ramirez, who sat down to share his story, his family's heartbreaking struggle with diabetes, heart disease, and more.
Marc was born in south Texas, and that means they ate meat, meat, more meat, and cover it all with cheese. Diabetes plagued his family, but thought the power of a Whole Food Plant-Based lifestyle, Marc was able to break those generational curses, reverse his Type 2 Diabetes, and now he and his wife Kim are sharing their knowledge with everyone through their non-profit organization Chickpea(Kim) and Bean(Marc)!
Fellas, listen up. If you're the rough and tough kinda guy, if you like football, bbq, steak, wings, and grilling... You may want to check out this conversation with Marc. He's a former University of Michigan Football player, who grew up with that same south Texas mindset, and sadly many of those lifestyle diseases that follow along with that kind of lifestyle. The good news is, you can still be a man, take care of your family, provide, and protect them... If you're too sick to do so, who is going to do it for you? When you know better, you do better, and I believe Marc has a few things he could teach us all!
I really appreciate their dedication and passion for helping others! Hope you'll tune in and check out this episode. Share it far and wide, so we can help as many people as we possibly can!
