As sustainability and all its subsidiary terms and definitions become increasingly thrown around in media and politics, it's not a surprise that they all begin to blur together for the average person.
This is problematic. That's why we are more likely to pass off these topics as 'too confusing' or 'I can't keep track anymore' and when we do this, not only do we lose scope of what we can do and which companies we should or shouldn't support, but it also means that organisations that aren't doing their part, are more likely to get away with it by simply throwing these words around.
