In this episode, Joshua and Diego review one of their favorite shows in recent time: The Mandalorian. Created by Jon Favreau (famous for his role as Happy Hogan in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and as director of Elf, Iron Man 1 and 2, Cowboys and Aliens, The Jungle Book, and The Lion King), The Mandalorian is a live-action series set in the Star Wars universe, between the events of Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens. It was the first major release from Disney+'s original live-action series and quickly became one of the most-watched shows in the world. The show features names such as Pedro Pascal as the Mandalorian and supporting roles by Rocky's Carl Weathers, Werner Herzog, Nick Nolte, Thor Ragnarok director Taika Waititi, actress and former mixed martial artist Gina Carano, comedian Amy Sedaris, Agents of SHIELD's Ming-Na Wen, comedian Bill Burr, Game of Thrones' Natalia Tena, and Breaking Bad's Giancarlo Esposito. The group of phenomenal directors helmed the 8 episodes of the first season includes Star Wars: Clone Wars writer and producer Dave Filoni, Dope writer and director Rick Famuyiwa, upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi series director Deborah Chow, famous actress and daughter of renowned director Ron Howard, Bryce Dallas Howard, and What We do in the shadows, Ragnarok, and Jojo Rabbit director Taika Waititi.
