But to provide balanced care, we first need to understand and respect our own needs and cultivate self-awareness about who we are and what our capacity is for caregiving and self-care. Clarity forms a foundation by which all other decisions are made, from boundaries with your loved ones to the types of self-care practices you pursue. With a comprehensive understanding of our strengths, limitations, desires, and aspirations, we are better equipped to navigate the unpredictable terrains of caregiving because we create our own expectations and experiences.

What does it take to feel GOOD, not GUILTY when it comes to caregiving?

Today's episode is the first in a series, "How to Become an Empowered (Self-)Caregiver"

In my ongoing quest to create self-care that helps me feel good and not guilty, I’ve done it ALL. With a bunch of trial and error, training, certifications, and sessions, I've learned what it takes to create a sustainable self-care practice that caregivers like me and you can use even in the midst of the ups and downs of caregiving. I developed- The C.A.R.E Framework based on all of my experiences over the last 20 years and am excited to teach it to you. This framework empowers caregivers by giving them **C**larity, encouraging self- **A**dvocacy, cultivating **R**esilience, and instilling **E**njoyment in the self-care process.

This first episode of the series unpacks my breakthrough framework to transform your self-care AND the very process I’ll be teaching in the upcoming EMPOWERED Self-Caregiver Cohort beginning January 2024.
