Ep. 22 – Kate Sidoti: Saved By a Passionate Fanbase
09/18/20 • 29 min
In this episode, I spoke with Kate Sidoti, co-owner of BRIM: a health-conscious restaurant in Minneapolis that dishes out bowls, sandwiches, and more. For Kate and her team, the pandemic was a close call. There were some days where she thought that everything was over.
But, with persistence and a passionate customer base, she made it through. We talked about that process and, also, how the events of 2020 have brought about new perspectives in the world around us.
You can order from BRIM here.

Ep. 21 – Liza Atkinson: Life as a Food Entrepreneur in 2020
I had the honor of sharing a space with local food entrepreneur Liza Atkinson for this episode. She had JUST started her Minneapolis-based dinner party/meal service company, Nosh & Gather, when the pandemic hit. So how has she pivoted?
In this discussion, we talk about how the idea of a "career" has fundamentally changed with the newest generation of workers and how she managed to not go insane with her three kids (and husband) during quarantine. She also shares the incredible story of how her business – it's literally just her – has evolved during the past year.
You can order from her site here.
