Follow Your Dream - Music And Much More!

Mandoki Soulmates is a European based Prog Rock/Jazz Rock supergroup that is led by acclaimed Hungarian drummer/percussionist/singer/composer Leslie Mandoki. The band has been together in various forms for over 30 years and has included such luminaries as Ian Anderson (Jethro Tull), Jack Bruce (Cream), Al Di Meola (Return To Forever), David Clayton-Thomas (Blood Sweat & Tears) and Chaka Khan.

In this episode I interview Leslie Mandoki and Tony Carey, a member of the band. We discuss Leslie escaping from Communist Hungary in 1975 to Germany, forming the band, recruiting the all star musicians, and their concert last August in Budapest before 30,000 fans. Plus a Songfest!

My featured song in this episode is “The One I’m Not Supposed To See" from the Project Grand Slam album “East Side Sessions”. Spotify link:
