
5 bad habits to leave behind in 2021

Here we are at the end of the year, getting ready to close out 2021.
I've been giving a lot of thought to some of the bad habits that I, and I'm sure others, have had through the year and maybe they haven't served us very well. Take a listen as we dive into these 5 bad habits to leave behind in 2021

- Habit number 2 to leave behind in 2021 is: Imposter Syndrome
A book I’d recommend on this topic is: Lean in by Sheryl Sandberg
- Habit number 3 to leave behind in 2021 is: Overloading your schedule
A book I’d recommend on this topic is: Deep Work by Cal Newport
- Habit number 4 to leave behind in 2021 is: An unhealthy lifestyle
A book I’d recommend reading on this topic is: The ripple effect by Greg Wells
- Habit number 5 to leave behind in 2021: Caring about other people’s opinions
A book I’d recommend on this topic is: Girl wash your face by Rachel Hollis
One last book recommendation covering habits in general is Atomic Habits by James Clear
I deeply encourage you to evaluate the habits that are a normal part of your routine. The good ones and the not so good ones. Take a look at those that may not be serving you and do the work to unpack the why behind it. Sometimes you can do that alone and sometimes you may need outside help. Don’t ever be ashamed of exploring these things as it can only lighten the load you bear. I hope you get value out me sharing my journey of the roads I have navigated and some that I am still navigating. I read a lot of books, listen to podcasts, videos, and content of others more educated or experienced in the areas that I need help in and I value their journey even if it’s different than mine.
As we ring in the New Year, do not put your energy towards creating New Year’s resolutions. 80% of New year’s resolutions fall off the map in fiery failure by mid-February. Instead, I wish you a year full of exploration and wonder, self-discovery and growth, joy, and fulfillment. After all, we only get one go around in this beautiful life.

Visualizing and manifesting
I recently shared a post from about 3 years ago and referenced visualization and manifestation.
I thought I'd take a few and share with you what my process looks like. It's more than just visualizing something or printing out a picture, rather it is about imagining yourself in the situation as if it has already happened. It is about feeling the way it feels, smells, tastes, and sounds. Visualization is only part of the process, you must also put in the work to make it become a reality.
