Eternal Paradigm - The Human Experience - The human condition may not be arrogance; it may be misunderstanding - Aaron A
play

10/14/20 • 39 min

Humans in general don’t have limits, until a human puts a limit on a human.
Aaron, A. 17 years old, an aspiring neuroscientist.

As you go on to listen to Aaron, you will understand why I took myself back to my 17-year-old self, and I asked questions, which I am sure you have figured out by now, is how I operate!
So I asked myself, who could potentially get me to think in a different way or see things differently?
And the answer arrived. Aaron, of course! He is passionate about bringing science fiction to human reality and there are no limits to his vision.
Join us as we learn about Aaron’s three favourite books, all things philosophical, some psychological stuff, a fair bit of spirituality and science too, of course.

Eternal Paradigm - The Human Experience - The human experience is unconditional. It is an unconditional experience. - Maria A C
play

01/27/21 • 57 min

Author, creative energy, spiritual consultant and mentor Maria Adriana Contreras joins me on this episode to talk about conditioning and programming. It's not muscle conditioning or computer programming as we know it, but it's all about the social conditioning of your mind that takes us, you and me away from what is our absolute inner truth.
Have you felt like you have lost your purpose or your zazzle lately? Conditioning could be one of the reasons....
This episode is a general look at everything you and me have been told to believe, exactly what we should be doing, how we should to live, how we do not need to live and everything else that truly results in an outwardly version of 'happiness'. But does this truly serve you?
Maria asks, "Dear listeners, what would you think, what would you feel, what would you be if you always honoured yourself?"
Connect with Maria on Facebook, visit her website at Celebrating You PR, Maria's Doll School or for music check out Maria Monroe.
Maria has recently published a chapter titled 'Denial to Divinity' in Being Fine, the other F word, a must read book that will be available on Amazon.

Eternal Paradigm - The Human Experience - Discovering unconditional love. Paying homage to our mums - Kalpesh & Anna (part 1)
play

02/10/21 • 18 min

In this episode, I am joined by Kalpesh and Anna and even though we are paying homage to our mums, their lives and what they taught us this story is a reminder that even during our losses the light of love, true and deep love always finds a way of showing up to guide you us in ways that were not really imaginable or even possible. And yet, through these moments of difficulties we discover new paths and new opportunities and the evolving of relationships.
This was the case for my guests. At a time when Kal was going through an incredibly difficult time his friendship with Anna remained strong and changed course. What is beautiful in this is how they have created a space for each other to grow and thrive while being each other’s anchor.

This episode is a very personal one as well because we are discussing loss as a human experience and for some, like it still is for me, this is still such a raw and difficult topic.

What is truly amazing with my two guests is how they have decided to live their lives celebrating and putting the memories of their mums at the centre of their daily lives and their future plans.

On the topic of travel, as we are all staying put and unable to get around as we once usually would have, in this episode I am joined by the Potts family from Leeds.

I thought it would be nice explore the Potts family’s travel bug, where it comes from and learn about their time living in Perth, Australia and what they did while there.
Adventures are fun at the best of times and I love the sound of a good old family adventure!

What is absolutely clear currently is that we, well not all of us, but most of us don’t have the quick and easy pleasure of travelling like we used to.

Even though it’s not ideal as we’re so used to living in a world where everything is so close by I do feel and hope that there are significant benefits to staying put as it reduces aviation pollution levels and lets the earth have a breather.

So while we do our bit to observe, or not to observe lockdown, the one thing we can definitely do is to think back, reminisce and remind ourselves of all the memories we’ve made while travelling.

In this conversation I ask the Potts family many questions and now on reflection I know there were so many things I’d like to ask! We talk about living abroad, itchy feet and travelling, being sporty and fit, the ups and downs of moving and living abroad and what they all learned about themselves and each other. What also started being uncovered is a bit of a love story.

Now, I am a sucker for a good love story!

It’s a story of connection between two people which transcends culture, background and race. But the lived reality shines a light on the darker side of the lack of acceptance.

It becomes apparent when hearing my guests, that not everyone really sees the value of each of us as humans. The limitations of our belief systems means that there are still many hangups about cross cultural relationships and even though now things might be changing there is still headway to be made.

I am sure you will enjoy hearing the Potts family. Remember to leave your feedback, reviews and suggestions on social media posts and on podcast platforms including Apple Podcasts. You can share social media posts and episodes with friends and family who you think would enjoy listening to this podcast.

Enjoy this episode!

"We have a responsibility to find ourselves. Only you can explore who you are and what fulfils you." - Simon R

In this episode of Eternal Paradigm, I am joined by Simon Rogers who has dedicated his energies to understanding the human body and mind. He has turned his fascination into a successful wellness coaching and osteopathic treatment practice that is committed to helping people feel well and live better.
Since releasing episode 1 where I share a snap shot of my mental health journey, I have been contacted by so many people who really connect with the experiences and emotions that I describe. As a result of this, I wanted to share some steps that I have taken in my journey and Simon has been a significant part of that process.
This episode reflects slightly on my journey and touches on some of the tools that Simon uses with his clients. There are changes that we can all make when we decide to move into the unknown, Simon also highlights how the healthcare system is not designed to help us to experience a holistic approach in connecting with ourselves and solving physical problems.
Ultimately this episode explores how the approach that Simon works on with his clients is just one option that can change the way we live as individuals and as a society.
Cheekily this episode is also a chance for me to ask Simon some questions that I wouldn't usually ask him.

What part of yourself have you or society convinced you that you need to cut out, get rid of, eliminate or suppress in order for you to move on to create happiness and be the best you? - Benson F

I had the opportunity to have a conversation with a transformation life coach who combines coaching, phycology and religious learning to help his clients. The wisdom that is shared by Coach Benson Fox is incredibly interesting and there's so much to learn too.
The question he is asking you is definitely going to get you thinking.
This conversation is an exploration, where I get to ask Benson questions about himself, his learning and his personal journey. We talk a little about the religious perspective on happiness that he has looked at closely. You will hear many different things come up and I know that a lot of it will be helpful to you in your journey to find you.
Benson said, "You can't delete or get rid of any part of you, even if you wanted to and it wouldn't work well for you because you'd be missing a key advisor who is advocating on a policy of what makes you, you."
