In this episode, Tamara opens up about her determination to take control of her cancer. She begins to question what she is being told and embarks on a journey to find answers for herself. She takes responsibility for her cancer by becoming an active participant in the search for her cure and hashes through what she wants to accomplish moving forward.
It takes a lot of courage to question doctors and Tamara does just that. She is finding a combination of medicine, self-discovery and conviction to beat her cancer.
Tamara gets raw about what it is like to want to give up. The girls discuss methods to alter our mindset and together they find little ways to tweak the direction of Tamara's thoughts.
In keeping up with the theme of living two very different lives, the conversation shifts to Bali where Hanna shares what she has learned about life from the energy of the beautiful Balinese people she has encountered.
At the end of the conversation, both Tamara and Hanna decide on small things they can each work on this week to shine light in their lives. What little things can you adjust this week to transform your mindset and maybe make life a little more enjoyable?

Episode 10- Small Town Girl to Global Nomad!
In this episode, Tamara and Hanna dive into Hanna's journey from growing up in a town of fewer than 3,000 people to a nomad traveling around the world.
They share a common bond in their upbringing in Norton, KS. They get nostalgic about what it's like to grow up in a small town, how that small-town lifestyle provided a solid foundation for who they are today and they talk about some disadvantages of living in rural America.
They touch on Hanna's transition and experience into college before they start to talk about the glamours life in Dallas. Dallas proved to be fun, flashy and seductive for Hanna, but stay tuned for how difficult it became for her to maintain an 'image' instead of being her authentic self.
They wrap up the conversation with Hanna's life as a nomad. What is most important to her are the lessons she has learned on this unique journey and her hopes to live through those lessons when she transitions to life back in the United States.

Episode 12 - Connecting to the Strong Female Energy - Special Guest: Jennifer Milnes
In the final episode of Season 1, Tamara and Hanna connect with a former Norton High School Alum, Jennifer Milnes to explore the strong female energy through the eyes of a woman in the military.
In the podcast, small-town girl to global nomad Hanna mentions that she gravitates towards the male energy and she would like to remedy that by exploring her own feminity as well as connecting to other female energies. They thought a good place to start would be by hearing stories from strong women that grew up in their hometown.
Jennifer Milnes enlisted in the Kansas National Guard at the age of 17, she has been working public affairs for the last 5 years, she has worked with Germans, Italians, Norwegians, Jordanians, Kuwaitis, Omanis, Nigerians, and Ethiopians. She has also traveled to Qatar, Iraq, and the UAE for military work. She is currently a Staff Sergeant and hopefully will be getting promoted to Sergeant First Class next month.
The three of them discuss matters around the world, government, politics, growing up in a small town and what it is like to be a female in the military.
Hanna and Tamara are very grateful that Jenn shared so openly about her experience in the military and look forward to having more strong female guests in Season 2 of Energy Never Dies coming to you in 2020.
