Employment Law Matters

An unauthorised absence can be deemed fair grounds for dismissal, but there could be a lot of reasons why an employee might simply not turn up for work one day - from a simple hangover, to a life threating family emergency. As an employer, it is important that you know how to avoid tribunal claims when dismissing.
