Our newest episode has us covering more Fantasia Film Festival offerings, this time in the form of a video game adaptation, a zombie flick that cuts close to home and a suspenseful French-Canadian twist on the idea of vampires. First up is Detention, directed by John Hsu, which is an adaptation of the game of the same name that follows a group of students who defy book ban orders in Tiawan during the White Terror. After that is Bleed With Me, directed by Amelia Moses, a tale of friends who go on vacation to cabin where things quickly turn strange becuase (you guessed it) things aren't quite on the up and up. The final movie this week is Yummy, a Belgian zombie flicks directed by Lars Damoiseaux that's heavy on the gore and the laughs and may or may not be based on Rigby's life.

Episode 157 | Mick Foley Needs A Spleen
Episode 157 finds the crew back with Rigby out of the sick house, and she ain’t got the ‘rona. This episode the crew are back at Fantasia International Film Festival 2020 and check out Brea Grant’s 12 HOUR SHIFT starring Graveyard favourite Angela Bettis, best known for her role as May in the titular indie horror comedy film, as junkie nurse Mandy who feeds her heroin habit by illegally selling organs. We also have a peek at The Mortuary Collection, Ryan Spindell’s horror anthology series and there’s lots of talk about Angus Scrimm, dicks doing things they weren’t meant to do, mercy killing your wife a la James Sunderland from Silent Hill 2 and more. The Mortuary Collection was just picked up by Shudder as part of their fall line-up, so horror fans better keep their eyes peeled for this awesome Creepshow-esque spooky send up. This is our second official podcast episode of coverage for Fantasia Festival 2020 and we are so psyched for the awesome films we have seen so far and so very psyched to check out more.

A Black House Rots North of Town (Podoween 2020 Day 1)
Podoween starts again! So, what is Podoween you might be wondering? It's a challenge that we started in October of 2018 where we here at DrunkInAGraveyard.com read a nice little spooky story or release a podcast episode everyday for the month of October. Storytelling and scary stories were so integral to us as growing up, and since everything kinda sucks we wanted to share some spookiness with you for the spookiest month of the year.
We are joined this year by some wonderful horror fiction authors, some creepypasta and spooky spaghetti makers, and today for Day 1 - we have a wonderful short story called "A Black House Rots North Of Town" by S.R. Hughes.
