Tessa’s shoulders slumped as they trode uphill to the peak of Caer-Dineval by its lone street. They had been to Bremen, Bryn Shander, Easthaven – even Targos of all places - and all felt more welcoming than this sullen place. “Not a face in sight to welcome us to their lovely town,” she said. “Hope their inn is at least in need of some entertainment.” In her head, she was already donning her dancer’s garb but she couldn’t imagine any wealthy patrons in this locale.
