Why did you start this show?
To help people eat better. Bear in mind I have a broad definition of better. I mean easier or more favorable meals. It could also mean more enjoyable experiences, whether you're entertaining, eating out, or just having your regular meal at home. Of course it can also mean eating things that are just better for you.
What do you hope listeners gain from listening to your show?
A better more informed relationship with food.
Which episode should someone start with?
Whichever one speaks to the greatest need with food. Our guests come from every corner of the food world. It doesn't matter what about food you want to know, our guests have answers, or our future guests will.
Which have been your favourite episodes so far?
All of them in one way or another.
Which episode are you most proud of?
I'm equally proud of every one of them. Some of them were a bigger challenge one way or another than the rest. But I see each of them as an accomplishment.
What is your vision for your show?
To feed people, and help them eat better in every possible way, by bringing in experts from every corner of the food world.
What is your favourite other podcast that isn't yours?
Randompm, because everybody can use a good laugh now and then !
How did you come up with the name for your podcast?
Before this podcast I wrote a food blog for almost three years at CrutchfieldCooks.com. The name was selected to build off of, but differentiate from the blog.
Tell us a bit about yourself
I've been in love with food for my entire 60+ years. I even actually have a grandfather and great grandfather who were both chefs, so you could say food is in my DNA. My own experience with it is as varied as my podcast. I've grown it, sold it, cooked it, and of course eaten it !
