Who am I?

I have had a 60+ year love affair with food. In fact my grandfather and great grandfather were both chefs, so you could say its even in my DNA. I have cooked food, grown food, sold food, written about food and of course eaten it ! I am a former meat clerk and have graduated the per-commis program at WorldChefs Academy. I have also completed Agri-Beef's Ranch to Plate program among others. I am the author of over 60 recipes, videos, articles and podcasts on cooking and food related topics. I have appeared on The Maria Liberati Show, QSRmagazine.com, The Pizzeria nad Enzo Show and IHaveAPodcast.com. I chose food because of how passionate I am about it. I have experienced food from many different angles and perspectives. I also have many friends throughout the food world to bring even more to the table.

We are seeing an ever-increasing burden of chronic disease, primarily driven by our food and food system. This is perpetuated by agricultural, food, and health care policies that don’t support health. We need to rethink disease and reimagine a food system and a health care system the protects health, unburdens the economy from the weight of obesity and chronic disease, protects the environment, helps reverse climate change, and creates a nation of healthy children and citizens. This podcast is a place for deep conversations about the critical issues of our time in the space of health, wellness, food, and politics. New episodes are released every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings. I hope you'll join me. Hosted on Megaphone.
