Rangers From Sea to Shining Sea: Portland Timbers 1976

Rangers returned to North America in 1976 for the first time in more than two decades, embarking on a five-stop tour beginning in the Pacific Northwest. As the USA geared up for its bicentennial and Gerald Ford was on the campaign trail in Portland, Oregon, Rangers rode into town (literally on the day) to take on the Timbers on 23 May.

In the third episode of the Rangers From Sea to Shining Sea series, Shane Nicholson is joined by longtime friend of the CROpod Gary Havlin and brand new friend Don Cox to talk about the third matchday of the 1976 tour.
