In 1903, a tiny town just west of Des Moines, Iowa, would find itself terrorized by an antediluvian monstrosity that seemingly clawed its way out of an nightmare. The 8-foot-tall entity boasted massive bat-like wings, a beak , and most peculiar of all... a blunt horn on its head that radiated a blinding beam of light. It would be dubbed the Van Meter Visitor and its story would quickly be catapulted into legend.
