In the spring of 2017, the Chicago land area would find itself rocked by numerous sightings of a strange, 7-foot-tall, emaciated, humanoid with glowing eyes. While all claimed it had wings the descriptions varied from bird-like to bat-like to insect-like. The witnesses were just as varied, rich and poor, from police and loading dock workers to professional athletes and people just out walking their dogs.

Join Creepy Acres' resident Bigfoot, Sam Squatch, as he flies solo hosting this, the season one finale, and just as he is about ready to pull his hair out, he is joined by Laura Kram to discuss the Chicago Mothman with Fortean researcher, author, and publisher of the syndicated "Phantoms & Monsters" blog, Lon Stickler!

Beginning in November of 1966, a small town in West Virginia would find itself at the epicenter of a bizarre and mind boggling nightmare. Reports of an inhuman winged monstrosity haunting an abandoned World War II munitions factory just outside town would begin to flood local newspapers. The Creature would eventually be labeled the Mothman by the press, and as the number of sightings grew so too did its legend, But where did it really begin?
Join hosts Laura Kram and Creepy Acres' very own resident Bigfoot, Sam Squatch, as they speak with Steve Ward: researcher, podcaster, and coauthor of "Mothman: High Strangeness". In addition, Steve Ward also works at the Mothman Museum located in Point Pleasant, West Virginia! So sit back and prepare for THIS WEEK IN CREEPY HISTORY...
