106 years before the appearance of the now-infamous mysterious lights over Phoenix, Arizona, another U.S. city was terrorized by a seemingly otherworldly visitor that inexplicably appeared in its skies in September of 1891. The Crawfordsville Monster, as it would be dubbed, would be seen by some as a harbinger of doom, while it would cause others to speculate about the existence of great atmospheric beasts living in the ether overhead.
