Are you one who complains about your wrinkles? The laugh lines that won't go away? In fact, your frown lines become more pronounced when you look in the mirror.
Why is that?
Are you counting your burdens and not your blessings?
You have one body and need to care for it in a way that no one else can. And speaking words of hurt and ugliness defeats the purpose of being kind. It defeats the purpose of loving yourself right where you're at.
Now, you might be saying, "Kristianne, you just don't understand what I've been through. I've tried to lose weight for decades. I've tried to gain strength and flexibility. But I just can't get my body to do what it needs to do."
I get it. Living a healthy life is not easy. It takes commitment on a daily basis, moment by moment. But you have to get in the game of life.
You have got to stop the excuses and count your blessings, not your burdens.
You get to see what you have, all the good your body does for you. So I want you to take a deep breath. This probably isn't something you've done on Valentine's Day before. Love yourself!
The K.I.S.S. ~ Love yourself! You do this in a unique manner for yourself, not in a way that is prideful or to the detriment of others. It's to lift up who you are so you can experience the love God has for you in your every day.
1. Nurture Your Mind
You do this by growing gratitude for your reflection, by speaking kind words to yourself when you look in the mirror, and smiling at who you are becoming.
You might be struggling with where you are right now. You might want to be down 27 more pounds. But that doesn't make you less than because your weight is more than.
Your conversation with yourself might sound like this. "Oh girl, look at you! You are going to conquer your day with attitude and beauty. Your eyes are going to see those who need your attention. Your smile is going to wake up hope in others. And your heart is going to lead your steps today!"
Nurture your mind!
2. Nourish Your Body
You do this by eating foods that feed your mind, body, and spirit with the goodness of vitamins and minerals, by intentionally moving your muscles and joints to gain strength and flexibility, and by sleeping so you have the energy to be a living legacy every day.
New Year's resolutions are long gone, and the Super Bowl is over. But your life is here today! So treat your body well!
This Valentine's Day, don't go get junk chocolate. Spend a couple of dollars more and get the good chocolate that has chocolate beans that help your body and are more beneficial.
Why put crap chemicals in your body?
You are made for more. So treat your body well. Nourish it well!
3. Embrace Who You Are Becoming
You might have a real battle with who you see in the mirror. Your reflection isn't who you remember or even who you want to see.
But, my friend, you have to be kind to yourself before you can be kind to others. "Love your neighbor as yourself." ~ Mark 12:31
You have today to make a difference, to make an impact. So do it well by embracing who you are becoming. Celebrate what you do today because of who you were yesterday. You becoming one percent better every day makes room for growth in your mind, body, and spirit.
You make choices every day. So let those choices exploit who you are becoming.
This Valentine's Day, know that you are willing to make the choices that will change the trajectory of your every day so you can live a life well lived. This is showing your reflection in your heart the love and appreciation you deserve.
You are made for more!

Maya Angelou said, "Nothing can dim the light which shines from within."
When faced with difficulties, it's important to tap into our inner resilience, that strength within us. And that comes from precious experiences, failures, learned lessons, and valuable insights from mentors and those close.
You possess an untapped well of strength that can be harnessed to overcome any obstacle. Remember, no matter how challenging the situation may be, your unwavering confidence can serve as a guiding light, illuminating the path ahead.
The K.I.S.S. ~ Embrace your unstoppable confidence! The only one who can put out your light is you!
Eleanor Roosevelt said, "You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face."
There is nothing to fear except fear itself; because if that's what's stopping you, imagine what you're missing.
Embrace your unstoppable confidence!
Fear can often be the biggest roadblock on our path to success. However, by confronting our fears and pushing past them, we unlock the doors to infinite possibilities.
If you recognize that fear is not an indication of weakness, but an opportunity for growth and self-discovery, imagine what's possible. Embrace fear as a catalyst to your unstoppable confidence!
Now if you are one who is saying, "Kristianne, you just don't know where I'm at right now."
C.S. Lewis said, "Hardships often prepare ordinary people for an extraordinary destiny."
What if your unstoppable confidence leads you to exactly where you're supposed to be right now in this season?
My friend, you have what it takes to reach your dreams and achieve your goals. So get ready every day and dress with confidence.
- Confidence that keeps pushing you when you get tired.
- Confidence that is bold or reserved where needed.
- Confidence that keeps your light shining brightly.
- Confidence that jumps higher than expected.
- Confidence that breeds hope through your actions.
Go to your closet, and look for the bold colors that will announce to you that you're ready for battle; the battle to embrace your unstoppable confidence.
And if you are wondering if you're cut out for this, borrow my confidence in you!!
You got this!!!
I'm screaming from the rooftops...You got this!!!

3308 Goodbye, Things!
In a world that glorifies busyness and accumulating material possessions, it's easy to get caught up in the idea that more is always better. But what if you flipped that? Goodbye, things! Less is more to live a life well-lived.
Because unfortunately, we proudly wear our busy badge of honor, as if filling our lives with countless commitments and a surplus of stuff thinking that somehow it equates to success and fulfillment.

But what if, deep down, we know that this constant busyness and clutter is holding us back from truly living a life well-lived?
Renowned author and minimalist, Fumio Sasaki, once said, "Minimalism is about knowing my true needs, and saying goodbye to everything that doesn't serve me well."
These words carry an important message - that in order to live a life of purpose and meaning, we must learn to let go of the excess and focus on what truly matters.
Letting go of physical possessions can be a powerful act of liberation. It allows us to create space, both physically and mentally, for the things that truly bring us joy and fulfillment. As Marie Kondo, renowned decluttering expert and author, wisely advises, "The space in which we live should be for the person we are becoming now, not for the person we were in the past."
The K.I.S.S. ~ Goodbye, things! But clutter isn't limited to just physical belongings. Our lives can become packed with overflowing schedules, endless to-do lists, and commitments that drain our energy and leave us feeling overwhelmed. It's important to recognize that our worth is not determined by how much we can fit into a day or how many tasks we can check off a list. Instead, our worth lies in our ability to be present, to connect with others, and to make a positive difference in the world.
Melissa Camara Wilkins, author of "Permission Granted: Be Who You Were Made to Be and Let Go of the Rest," beautifully captures this sentiment when she says, "We can't build a meaningful life on mindless accumulation and constant busyness. To live a life that matters, we have to be willing to let go of what doesn't."
Letting go can be daunting, but it opens up a world of possibilities. It allows us to free ourselves from the shackles of materialism and busyness, enabling us to make space for the things that truly light us up - whether that's pursuing a passion, spending quality time with loved ones, or engaging in activities that bring us peace and contentment.
As you bid farewell to the unnecessary distractions and embrace a more simplified lifestyle, you take a stand for yourelf and your well-being. Create room for personal growth, self-reflection, and self-care. By letting go, you make a conscious choice to live with intention and purpose, cultivating a life that is centered around what truly matters to you.
Today, let's take a moment to reflect on the things that may be cluttering your life and preventing you from living the life you truly desire.
Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!
Let's have the courage to say goodbye to what no longer serves us, so that we may create space for what truly matters. And when you do so, you not only serve yourself but also have the opportunity to serve others in a way that is authentic and true. It's palpable and real!
Today, say a heartfelt goodbye-- "Goodbye, things!" that hold you back, and ready yourself to take A.I.M.! Action ignites motivation!
