Ep. 99 Asha Degree - The Discussion

In this episode of the Crack House Chronicles, Donne and Dale team up the Jennie from Murder On My Street podcast to do an in depth discussion on the Asha Degree case. Asha went missing at the age of nine from Shelby, North Carolina, United States. In the early morning hours of February 14, 2000, for reasons unknown, she packed her bookbag, left her family home north of the city and began walking along nearby North Carolina Highway 18 despite heavy rain and wind. Several passing motorists saw her; when one turned around at a point 1.3 miles (2.1 km) from her home and began to approach her, she left the roadside and ran into a wooded area. In the morning, her parents discovered her absence. No one has seen her since.

Ep. 101 Susan Smith - Part 1

In this episode of the Crack House Chronicles Donnie and Dale discuss Susan Smith who was found guilty of killing her two young sons in order to continue a relationship with a man. Susan had a troubled childhood, which was plagued with suicide attempts and traumatizing events. Her father committed suicide when she was 6 years old. She was also sexually abused by her stepfather. Her marriage, too, was a rocky affair. She separated from her husband and got back repeatedly. She soon became a mother of two children and raised them as a single mother, with her husband mostly being absent. One night in October 1994, she called up the police and said that a black man had stolen her car, with both her sons inside it. Later, investigations revealed the horrific truth that she had rolled her car into a nearby lake, drowning both her sons.
