In this episode, I wanted to touch on family matters. So, I invited another guest onto my podcast. Welcome Vannary! We are semi-related as in-laws. We both grew up with the similar upbringings. We both come from a Cambodian household since we are both half Khmer. In our culture, they don't expect women to succeed as well as the men in the family. Vannary ended up being very successful with her career in politics. Her family still compares her to other family members. Instead of congratulating her on her success, they continue to only find negative things to talk about. Tune in to hear our conversation about how to deal with toxic family members.

Arrangement
In this episode, I take you back into the past. Like I said before, your childhood plays a big role in your adult life. I compare myself to a Japanese Geisha because I had a life chosen for me without my consent. I was forced into in an arrangement that I didn't want at a young age. I loved and lost at a young age. Not by choice. Looking back, I learned from my past. I didn't let it destroy me. I had to look past it and move on to better things. In each relationship, we learn by taking the good and the bad to make the next experience better.
