According to the American Marketing Association, “A brand is a name, term, design, symbol, or any other feature that identifies one seller’s good or service as distinct from those of other sellers.”
But what happens when the one you’ve spent years, dollars, and copious amounts of energy creating... no longer represents you anymore?

Oh, TikTok: aka the great unknown. For me, at least. Just when I was getting comfortable; my Instagram followers were steadily growing, YouTube views were up... TikTok took over. Andrea Mora is here to help clear things up.
Andrea is a viral marketer born in Venezuela, and currently based in Los Angeles. Throughout her career, Andrea has had the opportunity to help brands like Tiësto, Upwork, The Russo Brothers, Tencent, TikTok, and more, reach larger audiences and tell authentic stories through social media strategies, content production, and curation. Video Creation with XayLi Barclay
Content Creator Confessions
12/15/21 • 34 min
Video is powerful. I always say that besides face to face, video is the closest connection you can have with someone online. And we all learned that in 2020, when the world all but shut down. Suddenly, we all had to pivot our events to Zoom, our entertainment to streaming, and our favorite creators became our coworkers through their digital content.
And those connections we’ve made don’t seem to be going anywhere. By 2022, online videos will make up more than 82% of all consumer internet traffic — which according to Cisco, is 15 times higher than it was in 2017. And while short-form content like TikTok and Instagram Reels do seem to be picking up steam, educational, long-form content is still an excellent way to solidify your niche and build a relationship with a new audience.
Today’s guest knows a little something about that.
XayLi Barclay is a Video Sales & Marketing Coach, and Thinkific Expert for Online Course Creators. She specializes in helping entrepreneurs effectively stand out and make a genuine impact in the digital space. Through educational video content and online courses, she teaches others how to effortlessly create the visual learning experiences they’ve always dreamed of in order to unlock multiple revenue streams, attract paid opportunities and connect on a deeper level with their audience.

Camera Ready with Shelby Dubin
Content Creator Confessions
01/05/22 • 29 min
Photos are one of the best investments you can make when you’re first launching – or relaunching a brand. But not all photos are created equally. Choosing a photographer who not only gets your angles, but also gets your brand, is of the utmost importance.
Today, we're talking to the photographer behind my new brand photos: Shelby Dubin of Shelby Dubin Photography.
Shelby is a professional dancer turned photographer living in Detroit, Michigan. Visual arts have always been her passion, and through many years of dance, she learned the art of being able to tell a story without words. While traveling around the world performing, photography was always a part of the experience. And in the past few years, photography became the main character and evolved into a full time business. By combining her knowledge of business with visual storytelling, she uses photography to bring her clients stories to life!
We hope you'll walk away from this episode feeling more prepared for your first (or next) photo shoot!
Say hi to Shelby!

Content Creator Confessions
01/20/22 • 35 min
Email is one of the PILLARS of running an online business and has been pretty much since its infancy. Though social media is great, generating likes and comments, shares, and regrams doesn’t mean much if you’re not leading your audience into your sales funnel.
For the last guest episode of the season, I’m speaking to C.J. Thomas, founder of Simply Healthy Marketing. C.J. is also an Online Business Launch Lab guest instructor and I am always so inspired by her teaching style and savvy marketing advice.
Through organic growth strategies, strategy coaching, and effective marketing funnels, She helps wellness entrepreneurs achieve growth and sustainability in their business without compromising the authenticity of their brand.
