Mid Year Truck & 4x4 Market Update with Chris Picconi, Classic 4x4 & Brian Ellis, Fourbie Exchange
On this episode, Chris is joined by guest co-host Brian Ellis, Founder and CEO of Fourbie Exchange. They talk about the performance and their outlook on the truck and 4x4 markets, winners and losers in the market and marketplace integrity.
After a tumultuous 2023 in the collector vehicle markets, 2024 is stabilizing and showing signs of appreciation. Generational change continues to drive the truck and 4x4 markets, as the 35-55 year old demographic fuels their insatiable appetite for these vehicles. Though certain years, makes and models are performing well, some are still struggling due to over supply and shifting trends.
Not all marketplaces are created equal! Marketplaces are essential to bringing liquidity and transparency to the collector vehicle markets. Efficient and respected marketplaces operate with balance, integrity and trusted buyers and sellers. Unfortunately, as the popularity of the collector vehicle markets has grown, imbalanced marketplaces with compromised integrity and untrustworthy buyers and sellers have started to plague our enthusiast community.
