Ep. 54 – Healing Hashimoto's Holistically with Allison Rassp
Chronically Healing Podcast
03/11/20 • 42 min
Today on the podcast I have Allison Rasp of Hope with Hashimoto’s. Allison jumps into her story with Hashimoto’s which I guarantee so many of us with the disease can relate to. Her story mimics so many stories that I’ve heard before.
How Allison’s story differs, though, is by the action she took to take back her life and go after the things that she loves. Now Allison does holistic health coaching for women newly diagnosed with Hashimoto’s. During this episode she takes us through the ins and outs of her story, how to become your own advocate after being diagnosed and how radical lifestyle changes ultimately got her on the road to healing.
In today's episode we chat about ...
- Becoming an advocate with Hasimoto’s
- How to listen to your own body and intuition rather then ONLY believing what doctors are telling you
- The types of personality types that tend to be in the Hashimoto’s pool
- There’s more to healing than food - the radical lifestyle changes are where Allison’s healing took place
- How she works with women of Hashimoto’s and her Hashimoto’s 101 Course for those newly diagnosed with Hashi
- Her favorite rituals and routines
