Career Warrior Podcast

Welcome to our second podcast. We are resurrecting The Career Warrior Podcast (formerly LEG Job Seeker's Podcast) for good (in honor of this Easter season)! The goal of the podcast series is to spread best job seeking practices to those hunting for their dream job. We will be (hopefully) posting once a week due to the success of our last podcast.

Listen to this podcast and we will touch upon the emotional challenges of changing careers –desperation, anxiety, loneliness-- as well as how to overcome them. We will also touch upon the logistics of a career transition, and what it takes to be successful. I brought on Clara Chorley, a top-producing Career Coach.

Here are some fun facts about Clara:

•Clara Chorley has worked and traveled through 44 countries and 5 continents, with organizations as diverse as (fortune 500) Ernst and Young - and the (humanitarian non-profit) Millennium Village Project in Africa.

•Much more than just a careered businesswoman, Clara has founded her own business Clarity Unlimited to help professionals find jobs and build businesses that fulfill them so they can have the impact they want to with their lives. •After a long, winding journey through more than 10 careers she finally figured out her own purposeful work, and by sharing her story, has been helping other professionals do the same — but in much less time — for the last decade.

To connect with Clara on the phone, please follow this link: https://www.clarityunlimited.com/coaching-for-leaders/

You will want to listen to this podcast if any of the following applies to you:

oYou can’t settle on a clear direction or job to pursue

oMotivation is low and you’re unsure how to get moving again

oYou believe a dose of inspiration, energy and positivity would be good!

We hope you enjoy, and don't forget to hit that subscribe button.

#1) Tips for Millenials from a Top Recruiter

Welcome to our first episode of The Career Warrior Podcast (formerly Let's Eat, Grandma Job Seekers Podcast)! The goal of the podcast series is to spread best job seeking practices to those hunting for their dream job.

I brought on Jordan Weber, a producer from Top Recruiter. Top Recruiter is a reality show that takes a look at how rockstar human resources professionals compete to be the best candidate in their profession (much in the way that Top Chef does for culinary arts).

When Jordan is not producing TV shows in Europe, she actively recruits candidates for Currency, one of the fastest growing financial services firms in the US.

Here is more information about Jordan and Top Recruiter.

You will want to listen to this podcast if you've ever wondered the following:

What qualities do recruiters really look for in a candidate?

-How much does LinkedIn matter?

-Are thank you notes worth it?

-What is my biggest weakness (or what should I tell this interviewer...?)

We hope you enjoy, and don't forget to hit that subscribe button.
