Tina Montague became the Founder of Cancer Care Company in 2007. She worked alongside her daughter Stacey, her senior carer. In December 2015, things took a tragic turn when Stacey was diagnosed with terminal melanoma. It was a stark reality to Tina and Stacey, as they were so well trained and informed in terminal illness that they both knew the only outcome. Tina continued to run Care Comfort Company throughout Stacey's short battle with the invisible killer ravaging her body. Tina supported her at home as long as she could. She fulfilled any dreams she could manage as Stacey's condition deteriorated. Including an entire white wedding within ten days and a honeymoon night a week later. She walked to the car to get there and was carried out by her new husband. Over the weeks, Tina, Tina's husband and Stacey's husband, took shifts beside this beautiful, wonderful, Kind daughter, wife and mother, aged just 28, with a newborn baby and toddler to leave without their mummy and watch her go it together helpless to stop this living nightmare when she took her final breath on 5th June 2016. Tina was devastated and lost in this new life without Stacey. Her new reality, which she had never envisaged and could barely face. While putting on her swimsuit top during her honeymoon, Rach DiMare noticed a lump on her breast. She immediately got an appointment scheduled, and after further tests, the doctors found out that she had four tumors—invasive ductal carcinoma breast cancer.
