Trish Sanchez Hyde was diagnosed with stage 2 invasive breast cancer in January 2021. She did not have any symptoms. Her cancer got detected from her annual mammograms. She went through a double mastectomy with expanders inserted and then went through chemotherapy and radiation therapy simultaneously. Her message to other cancer patients is to stay positive, find a sound support system and communicate.

Toral Shah is a 3 times breast cancer survivor. Initially, she felt a lump which made her go for the tests. The first time when she got cancer, she was 29 and was pursuing her masters. The second time she got cancer was in 2018 and had a flap reconstruction. Cancer recurred for the third time in 2021, and then she went through radiation therapies. She is on Tamoxifen currently. She is a nutritional scientist, so she uses nutrition and lifestyle to help support her cancer journey. Toral gives the main focus to her diet and body, which enables her to heal faster. She tells everyone to include exercise and meditation in their everyday life. Her family and friends were her primary support. She has cut out all the toxicity from her life, which helped her have a positive mindset. Sheila Vanessa started having migraine, coughs, and shortness of breath as her primary symptoms. She consulted her primary doctor, who offered her some medications, but the symptoms did not disappear. Later she lost hearing of the right ear. She consulted an ENT, but there was no cure. After a year, she started having double vision. As a result, she was admitted to the emergency department, and an MRI scan revealed stage 3 Brain Cancer or Metastatic Paraganglioma. She underwent surgery, chemotherapy and 33 cycles of radiation therapy as a part of the treatment. As a result of surgery, she had facial paralysis on the right side. She also underwent a new treatment called Lutathera to shrink neuroendocrine tumours. Sheils says, "Your journey may be similar to mine, or maybe it's quite different than mine. Maybe you just got diagnosed and feel scared. Maybe you are angry and see no purpose in any of it. Maybe you have tried it all and have lost all hope. Maybe you are tired of believing and feel like giving up. No matter what season of your journey you are currently in, what battles you are currently fighting, I want you to know that there is still hope! Don't give up just yet.
