9. Masculine and Feminine Energies: Finding Your Balance and Shifting the Patriarchy, featuring Christina Tan
08/02/22 • 40 min
In this week's episode, we discuss how to find balance by embracing both our masculine and feminine energy. We all have masculine and feminine energy within us and through our life experiences, we can develop one more than the other. Where masculine energy is more action-based, analytical and of the mind; feminine energy is more centered within the body, feeling-based and intuitive. It's normal to possess both and for most, it takes time to uncover what you need to lean into. With this awareness and framework, we look to see our imbalances and discuss ways to adjust the volume controls.
Things we’re exploring:
- Can we value intellect and intuition more equally?
- Nicole working on embracing masculine energy to become stronger and more confident
- Christina learning to tune more into the feminine
- Shifting the patriarchy to matriarchy

8. Time to Connect the Dots, featuring Christina Tan
Lately, we’ve been hearing a lot more about childhood wounds and trauma and how they can wire the way we see and move through the world as adults. Through each of our journeys with intuitive therapy, we’ve been able to explore how our upbringing has influenced who we are today. We also chat about things we can do to de-program the not-so-good stuff. It’s an eye-opening conversation, especially when viewed through the lens of trying to uncover why we’re so opposite.
We connect the dots on some of these key differences:
- Love relationships being the primary goal vs. being secondary
- People-pleasing vs giving zero f*cks
- Complying vs needing to make our own decisions
