John O'Keefe was a veteran Boston Police Officer, he went to a party at a fellow cop's house and ended up dead on the front lawn, how could this happen?
Boston Confidential Beantown's True Crime Podcast
05/01/23 • 40 min
John O'Keefe was found during the early morning hours of January 29, 2022 in the snow, outside a Boston Police Officers's home. Police alleged that he was intentionally run over by his girlfriend. But his injuries and cell phone data suggest something much more sinister may have occurred. John's injuries are much more intense that one would suspect from a very low speed impact. He had several scratches and what appear to be bite marks on his extremities. Karen Read, John's girlfriend was arrested shortly after his death. Cell phone data seems to indicate that John had left the car and made it into the party, while Karen returned home. The party was hosted by another Boston cop and attended by at least one other law enforcement agent. The State Police allege that John was killed before entering the party, his cell phone data suggests he entered the home and even climbed stairs within the house. John was later found dead in the snow, the homeowner never even exited the home, when the police and ambulance arrived. The State Police never even entered the house or questioned the home owner. The trooper who investigated the incident, was close friends with witnesses and probable-possible suspects. One of the witnesses was found to have googled "how long to die in the snow?" During a time when she reportedly thought John was home in bed. The wheels are falling off this case!

John O'Keefe Part 2- Surprising phone data, will likely send this case in an entirely different direction, there is something wrong in this case
Boston Confidential Beantown's True Crime Podcast
05/08/23 • 35 min
John O'Keefe a 16 year veteran of the Boston Police Department, was looking to end his night with a nightcap at another officer's residence. He ended up dead on the front lawn and the home owner couldn't even be bothered to come outside. An autopsy revealed the presence of wounds that resemble dog bites and scratches on his arm, how could that occur if John was the victim of a low speed impact from his girlfriends SUV? There are also significant bruising on his knuckles-hand, yet the prosecution says there are no defensive wounds? There is something wrong in this case, many things actually. Bella Bond age 2, living in a cornucopia of abuse, she soon washed up on Deer Island

REPLAY:Bella Bond age 2, living in a cornucopia of disfunction, she soon washed up on Deer Island
Boston Confidential Beantown's True Crime Podcast
06/06/21 • 27 min
Hello all, we are on vacation this week, please review Bella's story, its a replay from earlier in the year. We'll be back at it next week!
One of New England's most heart wrenching homicides. Bella's mother already had two children taken by child services due to severe abuse and neglect, how did the Commonwealth conclude that she was fit to care for another baby? Bella's mother was a lifelong hard core drug addict and petty criminal, her live in boyfriend was worse, if that is even possible.
A great article on the Bond tragedy by Beverly Beckham of the Boston Globe (linked below)
This is what haunts me. That Bella Bond's horrific murder was not a single act of violence, an aberration in an up-to-then perfect, storybook life. But that this little girl suffered every day.
Conceived in a drug-induced haze in an Occupy Boston tent, she never met her father. Prosecutors say she was murdered on a mattress on a cluttered floor, allegedly by her mother's boyfriend, stuffed in a trash bag, shoved in a refrigerator, thrown into a duffel bag with a couple of weights so she wouldn't float up, then tossed into the sea.
This is what we know about Bella Bond. And what we know is sickening.
But what we don't know may be even worse.

John comes of age during the Irish gang war and was soon a full time gangster. John was living the life, he was making money and his status in the underworld was rising. He mostly stayed neutral in the Irish war, but he was running with Joe "The Animal" Barboza and Jimmy "The Bear" Flemmi. These two were simply killing machines and that continued unabated. John committed his first of many murders at age twenty-four. He was fully manipulated by Stevie Flemmi into committing the homicide, Stevie was trying to protect the real murderer, his brother, Jimmy "The Bear" Flemmi. This pattern continued through the decades. Don't miss this episode! Please share!

Boston Confidential Beantown's True Crime Podcast

A flurry of motions with a sprinkling of missing witnesses, was on display in the Karen Read case last week. Aiden Kearney is listed as a Prosecution witness, while Allie McCabe is removed. Allie’s timeline seemingly proved too problematic for the state. Dighton Sgt. Barros was also left off the Prosecution witness list. Don’t worry, the Defense will call them both. The madness continues as we head for trial 2. Please Share this episode!!

Colleen Ritzer and Turtleboy Updates-An unrepentant sex fiend demands a new trial-Phone Records Could Upend Turtleboy's case
Boston Confidential Beantown's True Crime Podcast
10/14/24 • 39 min
Phillip Chism, committed one of the most heinous crimes in Massachusetts history. He raped and brutally murdered his high school teacher Colleen Ritzer in picturesque Danvers, Massachusetts. Chism's defense claims the exclusion of brain scan evidence at trial, is grounds for appeal. Chism is a Ted Bundy level sexual predator and regardless, this guy will be released in his 50's. If his appeal is successful, he'll be out at 39. Do you want your daughter sitting next to this guy on the MBTA?
TB v Commonwealth of Massachusetts-This case appears to be falling apart. The Mass State Police, according to the defense, have used informants, with ACTIVE axes to grind against TB, furthermore these informants have troubling pasts, including mental health and criminal histories, including losing custody of children...and worse.
