John O'Keefe was a veteran Boston Police Officer, he went to a party at a fellow cop's house and ended up dead on the front lawn, how could this happen?
Boston Confidential Beantown's True Crime Podcast
05/01/23 • 40 min
John O'Keefe was found during the early morning hours of January 29, 2022 in the snow, outside a Boston Police Officers's home. Police alleged that he was intentionally run over by his girlfriend. But his injuries and cell phone data suggest something much more sinister may have occurred. John's injuries are much more intense that one would suspect from a very low speed impact. He had several scratches and what appear to be bite marks on his extremities. Karen Read, John's girlfriend was arrested shortly after his death. Cell phone data seems to indicate that John had left the car and made it into the party, while Karen returned home. The party was hosted by another Boston cop and attended by at least one other law enforcement agent. The State Police allege that John was killed before entering the party, his cell phone data suggests he entered the home and even climbed stairs within the house. John was later found dead in the snow, the homeowner never even exited the home, when the police and ambulance arrived. The State Police never even entered the house or questioned the home owner. The trooper who investigated the incident, was close friends with witnesses and probable-possible suspects. One of the witnesses was found to have googled "how long to die in the snow?" During a time when she reportedly thought John was home in bed. The wheels are falling off this case!

John O'Keefe Part 2- Surprising phone data, will likely send this case in an entirely different direction, there is something wrong in this case
Boston Confidential Beantown's True Crime Podcast
05/08/23 • 35 min
John O'Keefe a 16 year veteran of the Boston Police Department, was looking to end his night with a nightcap at another officer's residence. He ended up dead on the front lawn and the home owner couldn't even be bothered to come outside. An autopsy revealed the presence of wounds that resemble dog bites and scratches on his arm, how could that occur if John was the victim of a low speed impact from his girlfriends SUV? There are also significant bruising on his knuckles-hand, yet the prosecution says there are no defensive wounds? There is something wrong in this case, many things actually. Karen Read Update April 22, 2024 Jury selection nearly complete !
Boston Confidential Beantown's True Crime Podcast
04/22/24 • 34 min
The Karen Read trial begins with jury selection. The Commonwealth STILL hasn't completed discovery and has asked when testing is finished to submit the "evidence". I don't think that's how discovery works. The Commonwealth can afford a not guilty in this case, however they cannot withstand the corruption revelations that are on the horizon. This case will go down in Massachusetts history as being wholly corrupt.

Sandra Birchmore-A tangled web of police initiated, grooming, statutory rape, and perhaps murder
Boston Confidential Beantown's True Crime Podcast
08/26/24 • 63 min
One of the saddest cases in recent memory. Sandra Birchmore joined the Stoughton, Mass police explorers program at 13-14. Sandra's family had been looking for a positive male role model, for thirteen year old Sandra. She had a difficult home life and the family thought they had found, that role model, with the leader of the explorers program. Sgt. William Devine had been tasked with making the program work for local kids. Reportedly, the explorers went off the rails quickly. Sandra developed an infatuation with first responders. Before long it appeared grooming type activities allegedly began. She'd be found dead in her apartment in 2021.
Three police officials have been the recent focus of a variety of investigations, by the FBI, the Massachusetts Attorney General's office and the Mass state police. No charges have been filed to date, however a civil suit may bring new light to this case. Officer Matthew Farwell, his twin brother Officer William Farwell and Deputy Chief Robert Devine are accused of inappropriate sexual contact, including statutory rape of Sandra Birchmore.
Sandra was admittedly raped, as she was too young to consent to sex, during an affair with a married cop, for whom she provided child care. She was apparently pregnant with Officer Matt Farwell's baby. He was the last person to see Sandra alive, before he went to deliver his baby with his wife, at a nearby hospital. His brother had also had an affair with Sandra, when she was young. Deputy Chief Devine is also credibly, accused of having a physical affair with Sandra. This story is completely rancid. REPLAY:Bella Bond age 2, living in a cornucopia of disfunction, she soon washed up on Deer Island
Boston Confidential Beantown's True Crime Podcast
06/06/21 • 27 min
Hello all, we are on vacation this week, please review Bella's story, its a replay from earlier in the year. We'll be back at it next week!
One of New England's most heart wrenching homicides. Bella's mother already had two children taken by child services due to severe abuse and neglect, how did the Commonwealth conclude that she was fit to care for another baby? Bella's mother was a lifelong hard core drug addict and petty criminal, her live in boyfriend was worse, if that is even possible.
A great article on the Bond tragedy by Beverly Beckham of the Boston Globe (linked below)
This is what haunts me. That Bella Bond's horrific murder was not a single act of violence, an aberration in an up-to-then perfect, storybook life. But that this little girl suffered every day.
Conceived in a drug-induced haze in an Occupy Boston tent, she never met her father. Prosecutors say she was murdered on a mattress on a cluttered floor, allegedly by her mother's boyfriend, stuffed in a trash bag, shoved in a refrigerator, thrown into a duffel bag with a couple of weights so she wouldn't float up, then tossed into the sea.
This is what we know about Bella Bond. And what we know is sickening.
But what we don't know may be even worse.

Boston Confidential Beantown's True Crime Podcast

n 1997 Sal Sicari lead his fellow pedophile Charles Jaynes to his neighbor in East Cambridge, Ma, ten year old Jeffery Curley. When Jeffery resisted their sexual advances, Jaynes placed a gas soaked rag over the child's mouth and used his obese body to suffocate Jeffery. The duo sexually defiled the boy's body and later dumped the body in coastal New Hampshire. The investigation quickly focuses on Sal Sicari, as he interjected himself into the investigation. Sicari confessed and implicated Jaynes very quickly. This crime shook Boston to it's core and it still resonates today. Please be advised this episode contains graphic content.

Karen Read Update-Aidan Kearney arrested & three massive issues with this case
Boston Confidential Beantown's True Crime Podcast
10/16/23 • 43 min
Turtleboy arrested for eight felonies! It seems Mr. Kearney has rattled the Massachusetts matrix. He has been arrested for witness intimidation, however the real reason he was arrested is he made the Massachusetts State Police look like fools. We also cover three major problems in the State's case. Please donate to Turtleboy's defense fund (Link below). The FBI has had a grand jury convened for months in this case, apparently investigating corruption in this case, however no indictments have been been issued to date. There are many issues pointing to police malfeasance in this case and the District Attorney, refuses to address the issue. Please share this episode!
