In 1959, Herb and Bonnie Clutter's American dream was shattered when two men broke into their rural Kansas home and took their lives, the lives of their two teenage children, and little else.
Just over six years later, their tragedy became the great American true crime novel, “In Cold Blood” by Truman Capote.
In this episode, I review the first part of Capote's amazing work and then give you my narration of the Clutter family murders.
