In this episode, I share with you a little bit of my journey to learn some of the technical aspects of fictions writing on my own this summer and the short story that came from one of the topics, Murder on the Line.
The topic explored in Murder on the Line is the unreliable narrator, a concept utilized in any many of your favorite books and movies.

Recently reading the amazing crime thriller, The Association, by Sharon Ann Ziegler had me recalling my last two years trying to be a unsung hero in my deep dive into a real life crime, the 1978 Burger Chef Murders. In this story, I fill you in on my experiences and how life seemed to imitate art in eerie ways as I was reading The Assocation.

In 1959, Herb and Bonnie Clutter's American dream was shattered when two men broke into their rural Kansas home and took their lives, the lives of their two teenage children, and little else.
Just over six years later, their tragedy became the great American true crime novel, “In Cold Blood” by Truman Capote.
In this episode, I review the first part of Capote's amazing work and then give you my narration of the Clutter family murders.
