In each episode we’ll look at the general picture of what’s going on in the newspaper health pages, daytime TV, online and even radio if it’s relevant. Nothing’s off limits and some of the big TV dramas will get a look in too. We’ll also take some time to chat to a fellow medical colleague about a featured programme in more detail.

They discuss the hard hitting and very moving Channel 4 documentary 'Nikki Grahame: Who Is She?' which is a tribute to the much-loved reality TV star who had a lifelong struggle with anorexia, which led to her untimely death in 2021.

NICE has outlined that fremanezumab can be used for migraine prevention in adults if (NICE TA 631, 2020):

Chronic migraine (headache on ≥15d/m, with migraine features on ≥8d/m for >3m)
AND ≥3 preventative drugs have failed
AND the company supplies the drug at a discounted cost to the NHS (discount amount unknown).

Treatment should be stopped if migraine frequency doesn’t reduce by ≥30% after 12w.
