This week Nik is joined by Dr Karen Harrison Dening, head of research and publications at Dementia UK. She is also a Professor of dementia nursing. Karen has over 40 years experience in nursing, most of those being in dementia care in a variety of settings and contexts. They discuss the film 'The Father' starring Anthony Hopkins and Olivia Colman : is this the best screen representation of dementia so far, or not? What can we learn from watching it?
There's also the usual look at the medical news headlines and the week in daytime TV.
