"Are we going to have time for a swim?" my youngest asks. While I'm busy dodging crazy Auckland drivers as we head out of the city.
I quickly glance at my phone's clock. "Ah, yep. Should have time for a quick stop."
I nudge the accelerator as close to the speed limit as I dare. Knowing we've left *much* later than we wanted. So it's going to be a *very* quick stop if I don't keep the pace up.
We arrive with a good half-hour up our sleeves. So our family tradition of stopping at Lake T
