Breaking Barriers: The First Persian Bikini Pro

When you embrace taking bold steps, you definitely are set to breaking certain barriers. And sports—specifically bikini—is a great way to breaking some of those barriers. While barriers could be your culture, religion or even people around you, the gifts and talents inside you, when cultivated, can help you overcome those obstacles.

Mahsa Akbarimehr is an IFBB Pro, who made history as the first-ever Persian woman to earn a Bikini Pro Card. Mahsa grew up as an athlete but she was limited to what she could do by religion as well as policies imposed by the government. It's truly remarkable that she came from a country that did not allow bodybuilding. But not only did she go after her goals, she also exceeded them, paving way for many other Persian women to do exactly the same thing. She is now an inspiration to so many people around the world. Mahsa story is a perfect example that dreams truly do come true.

In today’s episode, I’m excited to talk to Mahsa about her background and her journey to the United States. She will also share how she began competing and how she became the first Persian IFBB pro.

So let's get close and personal!
