S01E08 - A Guided Journey to Balance the Heart Chakra with Minal
Hello and welcome to today’s guided journey - a meditation to open the heart. I hope that it will clear any blockages in the giving and receiving of love.
We’re focusing on balancing Anahata, your heart chakra.
Located at the centre of the spine, at the heart level, this chakra governs your senses of trust, courage, peace and gratitude, as well as emotional equilibrium, and love for oneself.
It is the fourth of the seven chakras, making it the exact halfway point of the system and the unifier of the physical and spiritual energy centres. By connecting the lower three chakras — the root, sacral, and solar plexus — with the upper three chakras — the throat, third eye, and crown — the heart chakra acts as the bridge between the earth and spirit.
An imbalance in the life force energy of the Heart Chakra can lead to a dependence on others for fulfilment, jealousy, high expectations of others, harsh judgement and a constant seeking external validation.
This imbalance can manifest physically in a lowered immune system (causing colds, flu, infections), heart and lung issues including poor circulation, high/low blood pressure, and respiratory and breathing difficulties.
So, by calling in deep healing, forgiveness and compassion we are able to make space for love in our lives in all its forms.
This episode continues the special series of meditations that I have created to help bring balance and calm to your day. Look out for these every alternate week.
In this series, I’ll be taking you through 7 unique journeys. These will be centred around the bio-electromagnetic system - aka the Chakra system.
Now, make yourself as comfortable as you can and sit with your back straight using a pillow or cushion to ensure your spine is fully erect and supported.
You can hit pause now and resume when you’re ready to begin.
And, take a few deep intentional breaths, becoming aware as each breath floods your system with nourishing life force energy.
I wish you a nourishing practice.
With Infinite light,
Minal

S01E10 - A Guided Journey to Balance the Throat Chakra with Minal
Hello and welcome to today’s guided journey - a meditation to unblock your sense of expression. I hope that it will connect you to your inner truth.
We’re focusing on balancing Vishuddha, your throat chakra.
The throat chakra plays an essential role in communication, creativity, and self-expression. When there’s an imbalance in this chakra, you may notice you have a harder time communicating effectively.
If this chakra is blocked or unbalanced, you may:
- be fearful about speaking your personal truth
- have a harder time expressing your thoughts
- feel anxious about speaking or communicating
You may experience outbursts of emotion or even the opposite: extreme quiet or refusal to speak.
Emotionally, those with fifth chakra imbalances may be highly critical of themselves and others.
Physical symptoms may manifest as:
By healing the throat chakra, we enhance our ability to express our highest truth.
